Lonnie Ramacher passed away at his home in Olympia on Monday, September 25 after a brief illness.
Lonnie was born May 13, 1945, in Chehalis, Washington, to Baldwin and Marie Ramacher. After completing high school in 1964 he joined the US Navy and served honorably in the Vietnam War. He later worked for the State of Washington in the General Administration Office and the Department of Labor and Industries. He retired from the state in 1994.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, and a spouse, Alayne, from a previous marriage.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Angela, of Olympia, brothers Duane of Selah, and Donald (Kathy) of Chehalis, and sister Dede of Chehalis. He is also survived by a son, Lenard (Krista), of Crescent City, California, and daughter Nita (Ben) Harrietha of Olympia, along with several grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
